How did Fezzy Wog get his name?
Everyone has a friend who is the social “hub,” who brings people together to make sure a good time is had by all. In A Christmas Carol, as Scrooge makes his own journey through his life, Fezzywig is the guy at the party who is social lubricant. He’s the one that keeps drinks full, people connected, and laughter peeling through the air …
Fezzy Wog is regreet’s connecter – he makes these same sorts of links – with friends, family, and the world at large. Fezzywog is a journeyman, an adventurer, and intrepid world traveler. He hops to friends and fellow travelers in far-off places and brings these connections back to you as you follow along online.
Why the regreet frog?
There are several reasons regreet chose a frog for our identity:
- Frogs are green, like our products.
- “regreet, regreet” sounds an awful lot like “ribbit, ribbit.”
- There’s only one way you see a frog move—forward— and that’s what we want to do with regreet… keep great greeting cards, notes and messages moving forward!
- Frogs move easily between land and water. Much like our froggie namesake, regreet hops between the digital and offline world, creating connections along the way.
- There are more than 5,000 species of frogs … while we may not have that many products, expect new regreet offerings to keep coming!
Hop along with us on a froggy adventure!

How does Fezzy Philanthropy work – how do you determine how much of your donation goes to each charity?
Each charity receives a portion of the donation based on your input! You can tell us who you “vote” for:
Each charity earns points based on the card’s journey. When you register as a FezzyWog.com or regreet user, you can choose which charity your cards’ “vote” for. This choice is stored in your profile. When you register a journey code for any of our Fezzy Wog products, your chosen charity gets 3 points. Each time your card hops along to someone else, your charity of choice gets more points – 1 point for each hop.
At the end of the year, we will divide a portion of our profits based on the charity’s proportion of the total points.
How did you choose your charities?
We chose charities that are near and dear to our hearts – The Nature Conservancy hits our eco-bone, as an organization dedicated to protect ecologically important lands and water for nature and people. We love 4-H’s mission to empower young people and appreciate its commitment to learning, development, and healthy living. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a more personal choice. This is the largest grass roots network of breast cancer survivors and activists. In 2007, when founder Christy Eichers mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, Christy published a book of family recipes that provided a $30,000 donation to this charity. With regreet, she looks forward to continuing to generously support the fight against breast cancer. Learn more about the cookbook project at www.mixingupmemories.com or purchase one through regreet
When does regreet distribute the donations to nonprofits?
We distribute our donations once per year based on annual profits.
